Tim Ginter is currently president of his own organization and serves as a consultant for a workforce training and development, multi-organization coalition located in East Liverpool, Ohio. The coalition is designed to provide the people of the Ohio Valley region the opportunity to receive outcome-based training to secure the jobs of the future. In addition, Tim’s prior job experiences have given him valuable insight into the everyday challenges of working families, having worked as a construction worker, a factory laborer and a machinist. He is a former member of the UFCW and Metalworkers unions.

An ordained minister of 27 years, Tim has served as pastor for four churches and as a conference speaker, traveling both nationally and internationally. Tim also has a passion for public service. He is currently a member of the school board for the East Liverpool Christian School and previously ran for Congress in the Sixth Congressional District.

“I am proud of my life’s work and believe that I can use my experience to make a difference for our region should my neighbors elect me to the State Senate,” Tim said. “I want to serve in the majority in Columbus so that I can fight effectively to bring good jobs, lower taxes, affordable health care and quality schools for our region.”

Tim’s secondary education includes Mount Vernon Nazarene University, the Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the International School of Ministry in San Bernardino, California, and the Wagner Institute of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Tim and his wife Pam live in East Liverpool. They have one married daughter who lives in North Carolina with her husband and two sons.
